I'm curious about the temperature 😅😅. That view with the mountain and the reflection is incredible. One the best hiking views of your adventures

Thanks Altin! Definitely some properly stunning views around this area. It was pretty cold, especially at night and early in the morning, essentially whenever not in direct sunlight, or when the wind picked up 💨 🥶

Another great vid guys, thankyou. Did you use crampons at all, and what altitude did you reach throughout and at your highest point. Also what temperature outside day/night and inside lodges ? Ps., some "mindless" chatter would be appreciated to answer the above whilst on route too. It would help visualise what it would be like, for those of us that will never be fortunate enough to go there.

Thanks Martin, much appreciated. To answer your questions, we used micro spikes for the snow and ice sections, and these were more than adequate. Lightweight, easy to pack, and plenty of grip. The highest altitude we reached on the whole Three Passes trek was 5611 m at Kala Patthar, and during this video it was crossing Renjo La at 5388 m. Hard to say for certain about temperatures but our weather apps were showing below -10°C at night at Gokyo Lakes. Inside the lodges it was warm by the fire, freezing everywhere else. If you’re interested to know more, our final video from the region is a guide in which we talk about the practicalities of the trek and about our experience 🙂

Truly appreciate your unique, serene production style that focuses more on the scenery and less on mindless chatter. Your videography is absolutely fantastic.

Not all chatter is mindless. Some can be informative.
