Trekking to Bossons Glacier from Chamonix | France 2021

The Bossons glacier is so popular because it can easily be reached via a chairlift in 15 minutes. Today, we're going to hike there since the chairlift is closed. We brought our hiking boots and hiking poles as this is going to be the most challenging and steepest trail we will experience!
The Chalet du Glacier des Bossons is a 5-minute walk from the chairlift’s arrival. From its terrace, you can admire the nose of the glacier and the enchanting seracs of the Plateau des Pyramides.
To get closer to the glacier, the Chalet du Glacier is the jump point for the well-known hike to La Jonction, which will take you even higher up into the mountains, to the Chalet des Pyramides, at an altitude of 2,589m.
These two chalets offer the option to eat, and they serve standard local cuisine in an idyllic setting.
