My stamping ground in my teenage years about 50 years ago. We did all sorts of things down there. Good to see the cottages beside the old arm that turns to go directly down to the Trent have been restored. They were in a right state in my day.

The mighty Trent. I used to live in Long Eaton & on a boat at Ratcliffe on Soar, know the area well & lived through several big floods back in the 80's. Not sure if this is true but there is supposed to be a Roman wall in the navigation between LE & Beeston, might be a good topic for a video. Thanks for uploading.

Hi Ant. I walk Henson by the Trent along where you walked and often on the far bank at Clifton Village. I had hoped to catch the medilink bus from Queens Drive on Thursday but had to go to Wilkinson street. Better safe than sorry. A great vlog again.
