There are many Indian cultural nuances which you are not familiar with. The last part explained: The white stone is a idol symbolising SHIVA ( THE HINDU GOD OF DESCTRUCTION) Usually people offer water or milk to that shrine.. But here BAHUBALI OFFERS HIS BLOOD. and that white kind of powder isn't chalk powder it's VIBHUTI - A powder made out of ashes known to be used both for religious & medicinal purposes.. That's why bahubali applies it on his wounds. They aren't brothers but UNCLE & NEPHEW. Too many cuts in the edit.. Makes it look not continuous.
