Hey guys, it was successful in the first try in real too. The best part about this mission is the total budget was only $74 million whereas NASA's mars mission budget was $2.46 billion with a B. And NASA took 2 attempts to reach Mars. Fun Fact: The movie Gravity was more expensive than India's ISRO Mars Mission. Beat that America.

yes in its first Attempt without any help from other countries it was a 74 million USD budget mission from ISRO . the famous "Gravity" the movie was made in 110 million. ISRO also holds the gunniess record of sending the most satelites in space in a single rocket launch 104 satelites in 75 million budget (94 of them were american ) before the record was of 33 by Russian space agency.

There is no added elements. Indian isro's last 40 yrs budget is half the budget of the nasa's one year expense. This makes isro the most successful space agency the world. And India also holds the record for more satellites in the outer space. India reached mars and moon and as possible by genius peoples. Not with money.

Guys u gotto lookup the background of isro how they sucessfully put an orbitor at fraction of cost that nasa spends ...india has very less percentage of GDP allocated for science and r&d it's a shame but those scientists / technicians at isro still kept on with their efforts

ISRO has taught people that money is not important to you. What matters is how well and successfully you do it.
