I think he made this video just to flex on us with his trophies...

Hahahahaha! Since I moved, I really put up a vanity wall. You can see it in DipAcad8. :)

Personally, my rule of thumb is to stab when the guy's last name is Caesar.

I can't argue with that!

Why does Chris have so many blades? (rhetorical)

Some example positions would have been great.

That's a good point. If/when I do a follow up on stabbing, I'll definitely include example positions!

Glad to see Reddit comments answered. This video is great, valuing centers vs relationship is the core of diplomacy. Yet it so rarely gets discussed and all the web.diplom articles are unavailable. Perhaps the best stab I've ever managed www.vdiplomacy.com/board.php?gameID=33247 It was a 12 SC win condition game as Italy, I managed to get a successful R/I with a very trusting Russia who had pissed off Turkey by never responding to messages. Turkey decided to throw me the solo while I convinced Russia to "build a DMZ" and went 8->13 in 1907. Would you make a video on variants? I've found them to be refreshing after a bunch of games of classic. Both the different historical settings, not all balanced (see Balkans 1860 and Italy's winrate), and the different win conditions on classic interest me. Also in quite a fun game with 34 powers on a toroidal map. I'd love to see a discussion of variants. Currently the only place to find it is the Diplomacy Games podcast.

A discussion of variants is on my list - there is so much to cover for the base game that I hadn't planned on getting to it for a while, but if there is enough interest, I could bump it up!
