Yeah his technique has gotten better. I have always loved his vocals, buut they are in a sort of style that lends itself to just melodic yelling? for lack of a better term. Which is what he basically did in the first album and especially live. I am glad he has refined it over the years.

My world the outro on Marching In Time with the backing track is from another world 43:10, Ryan Bennet owned this song with his skill on drums.... That is probably one of the strongest songs Mark has ever created! His Blackbird perhaps.....

Is very rare see bands like Alter Bridge, who has 2 band members who are masters in both: singin' and playing guitar. Normally the Rhythm guitar is just good/regular, or the backing vocals/second vocals are just good/regular. Alter Bridge has a Rhythm guitar that actually is a lead guitar too, and backing vocals who can sing Frank Sinatra! Just superb band!

I started playing guitar when I was 17. My consistent inspiration has always been Mark Tremonti. I would pick up My Own Prison and learn as much of that cd as I could. Yes, I'm old enough to have had that cd when it first came out. Today, I don't learn to play his music, I just hope that his inspiration flows through the music I create. Also, I'm still not good enough to play as good as him.

Насправді, символ у нього на гітарному ремені це не прапор України (він перевернутий), а знак руху підтримки дітей з синдромом Дауна. Його маленька дочка має цей синдром і він дуже підтримує цей рух та дуже серйозно долучається до благодійності в цьому напрямку. Але, все ж, Україну він також підтримує. Про все це він казав у останньому Rig Rundown з Alter Bridge. Ps: неочікувано приємно зустріти тут в коментах співвітчизника, бо якось в нас мало хто цікавиться його сольною творчістю.
