I too went the 7.3l gas as well on my 21' F350. Ordered it 2/4/21 before the chip shortage was announced. It was going to take 6 weeks to be delivered. It was 7 months. Glad i did though. I tow a 30' - 7400# Rv trailer . I can not justify a diesel for a lot of reasons. Only have ~1500 miles on the clock but so far its done a great job no regrets. Yup, not a Prius.

Sweet truck. 2019 before the pandemic hit decided to buy a 6.2 V8 Ford F-250 tow my 23-ft 6600 lb trailer. Sadly it was before the Godzilla engine was announced otherwise I would have bought that. I'm happy with mine maybe when we upgrade to a 27-foot the same truck as yours. I keep hearing good things about it. I also have a ramp for my dog. 😍

My brother had a 6.2 in his 17 he liked it. If I bought this bigger boat sooner I would have gotten the 6.2 over the diesel. Love that dog who knew a rescue would be so good and friendly. Thank you.

BTW, I have a '22 F350 with the 7.3 on order since 12/1/2021. Still no VIN or build date as of this morning.

It took 6 months for mine they had a 22 on the lot before my 21 came in. It wasn't what I wanted but the big screen would have been nice. Hope you get your truck soon you might want to get a 23 or it may be a 23 now.

@@METALITHrevetments I grew up in Aurora but left in 89 Galena sounds familiar. I had a good truck during the wait at least but it didn't make the wait easier. I love it here in Tennessee snows but melts the same day usually no snow shovel in my garage.

We were about a mile West of the mall near Eola and McCoy. I like Galena better...Aurora has problems these days, although I like the Mayor who's running for governor.

I was 32 when I left only been back a couple times no family there now. Today was the first time I the truck in free oil change and tire rotation and 2 recalls. The recalls were for the drive shaft insulation above it would come loose and it into didn't see anything problems with my truck. I had it fixed anyway. The trailer brake controller needed a reflash. Love my truck the only thing it doesn't pass is a gas station.

Truck, I have a question unrelated to your truck. Can you put links in for whare you got the door guards and ramp for the dog. I just ordered a F350 and have a little dog and this ramp would be nice for him to get in and out. I also liked the back seat guargs for the doors and the backof the seat. No rush , it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Paul

I have to learn how to do that but I got the stuff from chewy.com hope that helps. Get the extra large back seat cover just fits. The ramp I have had for a while it was 80 bucks they may sell one also. It took her a while to go up down no problems.

I got a 1999 Ford f350 V10 supercharged forged with a gearvendors underoverdrive and 4.88s it pulls like a mother and not a scratch on it

I have driven a v10 it was awesome. They say the only thing it doesn't pass is a gas station. My wife loves this truck she couldn't believe the power she is more of a lead foot than me.

It's great blows my 02 4.7 ram away couldn't believe the difference. The 7.3 is made to work if you're towing more than 12k daily a diesel may be the best option. Spencer's lawn care just got a 22 7.3 super duty for his company they seem to like it.

Did you ever get the chance to look into getting the tailgate handle wrapped in black ? In my experience, if you don’t do things that you want to as soon as possible on a new vehicle you probably won’t do it. And that being the only piece of hideous chrome on that beautiful truck is such an eyesore. Ford should of known better. But you can also go to the dealer and order a tailgate handle for a XL which is black and they will put it on for you or you can do it because is not that difficult to do. If it was me I would go with the black XL handle, that way you never have to worry about the wrap coming off or peeling and it will blend in PERFECTLY with the truck. Ford should realize that sometimes less is more.

I like the xl handle idea the best I'll look into it. I would like something more permanent I'm in the bed almost every time I use the truck.

My gut tells me go gas. The diesel maintenance and emissions systems turn me off.

I feel the same way and I don't tow every day. The 8k difference helps make the choice easy. I like the 7.3 I don't regret getting it at all.
