Jason, your face told the story. Such relief during and after the trenching. I’m so happy for you! I loved Lorraine seeing the trencher by the high tunnel and calmly asking about it. You saying it was a spur of the moment idea and she replied, “oh.” Y’all are a great team.

Have you thought about running two lines in the trench, one for water and one for electricity for the future. You could run the wire later and all it cost is the extra pipe.

You're working smarter not harder, lol. I'm sure that red clay it super hard digging. Now there is only a little to do by hand. What a blessing to have friends to help. If you're not sure on what kind of pipe to use, I think I would ask Jeremiah his opinion. The farm is looking good. With this in place you'll spend less time watering.😊

Jason we had a trench dug for us and that was amazing. Then we procrastinated getting our lines in part of it was electrical and water. Consider running electrical also to your high tunnel. PEX is so easy. Get it done before it rains!!! Once that trench dirt gets rained on it a pain to refill the trench. Love y’all!

I raised pigs for over 15 years. I kept them in a single wire fence. I never had pigs get out. My charger was a plug-in type that delivered twelve joules. Your little solar charger, on a sunny day, gives less than four joukes.

Unsolicited advice. I'd suggest using Schedule 80 Black Poly 1.5" or 1.0". Schedule 80 is thicker (and a pain to work with for connections) but it holds up to rocks, freeze-thaw cycles, etc. Your line will be a pressure line so you'll want a more robust pipe. Since you're under your frost line you'll be totally fine, even without blowing out, during the winter. PVC is good for pressure lines but susceptible to freeze cracks because the is 0 expansion (black poly expands a bit - Shed 80 or 40 - so it's more forgiving) - It can also stand up to a random shover strike (and even a glancing trencher tine) if you have to dig some other lines in the future for any reason. I used to do this stuff (large commercial irrigation systems) for a living. Enjoying your videos. New sub just now.

Put in 4 " lines insulate the water line and use thermal cooling and heat in the green house. Do a wire wrap for winter to the hydrant. It will pre heat air for the greenhouse. One day add a boiler pex tubing line.

Please be sure to size the water lines to the distance from the well. You’ll need much larger pipe diameter going as far as you are. I ran 1 1/4” pipe from the house , over 550’ to the last hydrant. Very good volume and pressure
