Heartbreaking. Thank you for your willingness to share AND be transparent and kudos to you all for jumping in redeeming their life by saving the meat. I'm so brand new to this life, don't have larger animals yet and this is a great way to learn through the experiences of others.

So sad. Such a shock when everything went so well just the day before (No pun intended). You and your family handled it like real pros

So sorry to hear about your sheep loss Jason! How tragic and discouraging. I hope the meat is still okay to harvest. So sad that the friendliest sheep was one of them that died in the net fence. Thanks for this positive outcome video where you made the best of a bad situation. Great going Contreras family!

I'm so sorry this happened. I have heard horror stories of sheep getting tangled in sheep netting. I would suggest using electric chicken netting. They are a bit taller, and the holes are smaller, so they don't get tangled in them. That is what we decided to go with.

🤔🤔🤔 Maybe put up a camera to observe them and catch anything that could spook them. Also adding a floodlight so they can see the French might help. Sheep art not exactly know for their intelligence but they are know for skittishness so anything could of happened. It’s a new place for them.
