For the most part felons are not suposed to be eligible to begin with for most positions. They can set regulations and taxes for profit margins so the companies can decide if it's worth the costs to boost prices or keep them reasonable but the prices of things are always company decisions, not governments. On that note, conservatives keep rolling back those regulations so thank them for letting companies get out of control.

The money you claim is going to illegals is actually going to boarder aid and beefing up the official systems that process them, not to them directly.
