JI, i guess the reality is, cut-off has been increased predominantly. This shows that more people are interested in Engineering this year and also interested in admission through counseling only. Therefore, most of the top colleges will be filled in Round 1 itself. You can fill all the top colleges in the choice list. But what is the use. There is a very rare chance in "Accept and Upward" or moving to 2nd round may not be wise decision. Moreover College fees, Transport fees and Hostel fees were increased substantially this year, where affordability is a concern. Now students will find nearby college in the location though they have reasonable cut-off. I am not negative, but this is the reality. Correct me if I am wrong.
