Thanks for taking the time to comment. I've recently been told that the local antique malls here have noticed a recet uptick in traffic and sales. I think it really depends on the genre and business model as to what time of year cycles occur. Rising interest rates are certainly having an impact as well. I should have discussed that more but I was focused on the report from Roundtop.

Hi Gregory. I enjoy your videos and the information you share. I have 2 booths in an antique mall in Alabama and May was a strong month. This year, I have noticed an increase in furniture sales and also an increase in old paintings and artwork sales.

May is usually one of my slowest months in the past few years, but this year it was really good. I specialize in Ephemera, prints spanning 17th to 20th century and collectible buttons. I always considered April through about mid June as my slow months because people are gardening, Graduations and Weddings and such. I am in a group shop that gets great traffic in Concord, NH

My style is early American colonial primitives that are soooo hard to find and seem to be concentrated in regional areas so if you don’t live in that region, it requires a trip but I enjoy layering my spaces with pieces of historical interest. The prices of this style seems to me to have remained very strong probably because of the lack of availability. It’s interesting to hear about trends, but I’m glad I’m not caught up in trends, because when you stick to a style you like, over the years, your home becomes that showcase of a life well lived because of a collected curated style that develops into an interesting environment. Thank you for all your information.
