I don’t think people keep talking about Trent end of contract all the time is doing any favour for the club. We should be talking about how Liverpool can win most of the trophies this season. If Trent wants to leave, it will happen at the end of the season. He has already won everything with Liverpool and can win more this year. If he wants to leave for another club, his right must be respected. Why is no one talking about Liverpool's board of directors who, to this day, have not renewed Salah, Trent and Virgel's contracts? It’s too easy to blame the players

For real, I can understand that they waited to see how Salah and VVD will perform at the start of this season. But Trent's contract issue should have been clarified by the end of the previous season. People seem inclined to blame Trent, but there are 2 sides to this problem, and we don't know either, only rumors.

Klopp left Trent broken down. Not even that he realised Klopp was replaced by someone who is good enough he should remember the people who were there for him all this time before he starts messing around.

TAA would like to leave with one or two major trophies, that would help upping his signing on fee from RM in the summer. If he goes now RM are obliged to pay something reasonable to Liverpool to make the move now possible, which reduces TAA's big signing on fee in the summer. His hand yap gesture following his goal against West Ham says that he's not dropping his game and wants to shut the chat about staying or not leaving until the summer. That would be good for us and TAA.

I think Mcmanaman's quote about not being able to understand the songs and culture when celebrating the thropys won and imagined how he would have felt to have done it with liverpool is so valueble. TAA can be tempted by the sporting package, economic part and experiencing something new, however he is in the best situation of all players i can think of already. best team in europe, his favourite club, loved by the fans, paid alot of money, establishing himself as the greatest fullback of all time in the premier league. Back when Stevie G was rumored away the situation was so different. he would never have entertained a conversation if he had been in trents postion imo. TAA have the possibility to fumble something huge by going to RM.

Craig had a superchat who said and is right by the way, " we cannot afford to let Trent leave in Jan as his back up is injured, and this is the pribldm, FSG for years failed to back up there manager, Klopp and now Slot, if Trent has told club he wants to join Madrid then he could be forced to play him as like for many years we simply don't have options, we don't have like for like back up in positions. Assuming Virgil stays, but one of Robbo/Tsimi goes with TAA. the defence is in dire need of a massive upgrade next season. Gomez might stay, but wouldn't be suprised to see him moving along too given his age and injuryrecord plus perhaps his desire to try something new. A starting LB is a MUST. I also believe we might need to buy a starting RB, because Bradley would need to carry alot of weight on his shoulders taking over the TAA spot for a lad with minimal first team expereince as a regular. I would like to see swift actions already now to start this process, so we can relieve some pressure before the new season. Centreback would be my main priority for january, but midfield is potentially 1 injury to Gravenberch away from putting us in grave danger. honestly don't see us doing anything, given our record of playing the odds to save a few quid, but if Zubi is looking to leave, then perhaps we might see a Gakpo and diaz esque move, so fingers crossed. Darwin is probably leaving and there is questions to Chiesa's role for us moving forward, but a striker should be worked on asap too. i'd like to see marmoush. i believe he would posess the techical ability to play the Diaz no. 9 role. I might be a bit traumatized of a typical number 9. after seeing how darwin struggles under slot, so i'm not convinced by either Duran, Gyokeres, or David. Isak would be awesome, but money and injuryrecord makes that one impossible for me to believe in.

Why is it Klopp and now Arne Slot are trying to walk forwards but there both been walking in a wind tunnel, to walk forward takes a huge effot, because the owners are in charge of the wind machjns, turn it off and give your manager a helping hand instead of hindering him.

i get the idea of selling trent because our owners are cheap etc, however even if we sell him, i'm still not sure we'll spend the money. it will probably just go to the giant warchest we need for next summer, as the same story repeats every year

Not that my opinion matters but personally I don’t think anyone will be sold this month, too much of a risk - youngsters may go out on loan like Danns, McConnell, nallo - a potential signing but only if it’s made clear by the player with a “come and get me” (zubimendi) but don’t see it happening - any changes will come in the summer - YNWA

Calling Trent a coward , is unhelpful, toxic and a disgrace frankly. Why is it so difficult to understand that Trent needs leverage to deal with FSG who are the filthiest owners in the league. The fact that Mo & Virgil haven't signed is testament to that fact. Any reasonable owners would have given both 3 year extensions. Look at the pair of them, physical specimens, & both still at the peak of their powers . But FSG are not reasonable a fact which Trent knows

The most important thing, ask Trent to keep focus for the rest of this season to get EPL Champion as well as UCL Champion..... For next season, start to find his replacement.... it is still enough time. So stop talking about Trent, it is boaring the same moaning on and on again.....
