The first time I heard this 4 years ago, I was in a toxic relationship and justified why my dreams had to be one the back burner. Now, I have an amazing relationship with myself and am in a healthy relationship, and ready to try for our first child while also making my dreams a reality. At present, having been loyally married for 50 years, I realise that I have left it too late for my personal rehab time. Married, taken for granted etc., it's too late especially as my husband has just died. Now, at the age of 69, I am alone and know that over the years, I have sacrificed job opportunities and compromised always, just to keep the peace.
