Trent reminds me so much of my father - an electrician one minute, a plumber the next, then a roofer, then a motor mechanic, then a plasterer, a tiler, then a carpenter. It's a fascinating life as a child, to watch all those trades (and more) in one person - daily. Very exciting actually and comforting to know your father can fix anything. (But very hard to find a husband with the same abilities.)❤
@elgringoec51 минут бұрын
😂 my daughter got me a mug, "if Dad can't fix it we are all screwed" It's not hard to do all that stuff, you just have to think it's important enough to bother. Most guys would rather put all kinds of brain resources into memorizing football stats so they can appear "learned" with their other narrowly skilled friends. I teach my daughter to do useful stuff and because her husband won't learn to be handy she assigns him duties like cleaning and organizing and shuttling the kids to and from games and school, etc. Almost a role reversal, at least in part. He still brings the paychecks. But of course I have to fix, maintain, and build everything. So I go help her out while I still can.
@my2cworth4U16 минут бұрын
@elgringoec That's great. My father helped me out for quite a few years after marriage, but I tended to take over then as he had taught me to do so many things. He should have had a son. I renovated every house I owned. And some I didn't. Loved it. Still try at 77 l, but it's a lot harder now.

You should get a piece of lumber and attach it to the wall to mark the boys height. When my daughter sold their house they were so sad to leave that behind. Her kids were almost grown but that was always a regret. When they moved in they didn’t anticipate ever moving.

Hello!!! I don't know if you will see this Allie, but here goes... Next time you want to make bacon try this. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Set oven to 400. Line the pan with desired amount of strips. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes. Check periodically since all ovens may be different. Perfect bacon, no mess, no fuss, and way less clean up. I have shared this with lots of family and friends. As far as I know they ALL do it this way now. Your Welcome..... Hope you see this post. ❤❤❤❤

Me and my house ALL go for crispy bacon..and I'm left handed, but I live in a house with switches on no particular side, so no matter which side coming thru a doorway, you get used to the location and use them as is, no big deal. With lights so high, I hope Trent remembered to install some electrical outlets in the floor for furniture that will NOT be against the walls. The house is coming together beautifully. THANKS for sharing.

Good morning! I used to sleep extremely well and deeply until I had multiple hospitalizations in 2010-2015 and I developed insomnia as a result. I'm lucky to sleep2-3 hours before waking up. If I hear anything I wake up and I rarely can go back to sleep. I have earplugs and a fan that help to block the noise which have helped a lot. The sunlight on Leo's hair really brought out the red tint in his hair. It will be interesting to see how it changes over the years. I learned something this weekend that might interest you and Trent. Apparently wasps and hornets are attracted to the smell of propane which was why they were going crazy to get into the vent and pipes going to the furnace and even the vent for the stove and oven and anything else that is run off the propane.

I would be giving Billy a little Rice cereal for his last feeding, either in his bottle or feeding him some. I would also be prepared with some prune juice incase he gets constipated but if you make it runny enough he should be fine. Babies are all different and he might need that extra.

I don't eat bacon anymore, but when I was at a restaurant, I would always tell them to "BURN it." I didn't actually want burnt bacon, but if I didn't say that, I ALWAYS got it back with chewy bits that I couldn't chew and would wind up spitting out -- what a loss!! Glad you realized (for next time) that you can just keep cooking yours until it's how you want it. LOL!! You guys are so funny! Also, little Billy is looking JUST like Leo and it's the cutest, cutest, most precious! Brothers! Gotta love it!

My Mom did daycare in her home for more than 32 years. She always told me that babies who slept with their hands up by their heads, like Billy was doing in your opening shots, were incredibly healthy. Hey Allie, as a Mum of 5 (now adult) children, as an ex Nursing Mother's Counselor (In Australia), and a retired nurse, I can say that it's normal for Billy to go through periods of change in routine. Some people suggest adding some solid food. That's not my suggestion if you wish to keep fully breast feeding for a long period. Once you start to introduce other foods you have started the weaning process. Obviously, that's fine if that's what you want to do. If you don't though, you can try feeding a bit more often during his wake times, this will help to increase your milk supply (supply and demand - the more demand, the more milk you will make). Again, this is normal to go through adjustment periods especially in the first 6-9 months. It's tough having to get through the lack of sleep issues. I ended up doing 12 years of that, so I certainly understand. You are doing a phenomenal job as a Mum and it's great you have some help from Jennifer. Sending hugs. 🤗

I’m in the UK, if you want crispy bacon you buy streaky bacon which are strips of bacon which has streaks of fat, my preference is rashers of un smoked back bacon very little fat. Crispy bacon is over cooked. Have been go on a cruise on American ship which obviously cater for Americans, not impressed with way they fry bacon
@Wdeane195712 сағат бұрын
As another person who likes bacon with almost no fat (called short-cut bacon here in Australia), the way many Americans have their bacon crispy (cremated lol) just isn't nice to eat. It's too crumbly.

That is only an opening from a hallway into the room. There will be no door. That is what started the whole question of which side, as if there was a door they would obviously put it on the correct side, but without a door, there is a choice.
