I just went back and watched the video when they announced that they bought land and are going to build a house. That video was put out in June 2020 but they said they had bought the land the year before in July 2019. However they didn't start building on it till after the announcement in mid June 2020. So they really have only been building for 4 and a half years.

Trent’s walls are always a hair out of square, so inside corners need to be cut. When drying they will shrink and pull away from the corner.

Thankful that Allie isn’t pregnant. My wife and I wall papered our bathroom when she was at 7 months. It almost ended our young marriage. 42 years later both the marriage and wallpaper are still working. Well done install.

With our 1st baby we wallpapers the nursery. We started when I was about 10weeks and we finished just before I was admitted to hospital at 36 weeks. Hubby had never wallpapers before so he wanted to take his time. We did 2 pieces a week. Nearly drove me crazy as I had wallpapers before. We didn't even have to match a pattern. It looked great though.

Having wall-papered all of my life (I am 83) I can tell you that you never wrap wall paper into an inside corner. You cut it. You should however always wrap an outside corner.

I have wallpapered several bathrooms. I’m in my seventies and went through the era of whole house wallpapering. I’ve never had a problem with wallpaper in the bathroom. I did always make sure I had good quality paper.

When hanging wallpaper, you cut the corners. I learned the hard way. Many lifted wall paper corners. The pattern is related to the repeat, which is given in the wallpaper instructions or some where on your roll. Sizing the wall is the best prep for wallpapering. Use a table and not the floor, because dirt and bits of this and that sticks to the glue. It looks like you enjoyed the experience and that is important.

Any wallpaper I ever was involved in hanging involved putting your roll of wallpaper in a wallpaper bath that we got at the paint and paper store. Also, moving into other homes , removing wallpaper- a nightmare

I LOVE putting up wallpaper. The entire wall transforms, one length at a time. SO much easier than painting. Not much prep. Not much clean-up. The print is easy to lineup perfectly. I always look forward to papering a wall. You guys did great. Bit of self-doubt, but you did it anyway.

I have had a good wallpaper on my bathroom wall (very small bathroom) for 20 years. It's washable and there is not a single edge or corner peeling off. We take showers, tub baths - using a good exhaust fan to pull out the steam - and it's done great. If applied correctly with the right paste you are good.

I would probably never wallpaper a bathroom because no matter how good a fan/vent you have it still gets damp, I was also thinking the same as others when you papered around the corner. Having said all that, I think it looks beautiful, I love that paper Allie, doesn't look like $100, looks more expensive. Hopefully we will all be wrong and it will last and last.

I use to hate wallpaper. I'm not sure what changed, but now I love it. I've seen some really beautiful changes in homes after they put up wallpaper. We live in more of a cabin style home, so no wallpaper for us, mostly wooden walls and ceilings. ❤ The boy's bathroom is looking amazing. Ally did a great job designing it.

A++ on the wallpaper! I've wallpapered so many walls in homes we lived in around the world. I can say, just buy a tube of "Seam and Repair" and a tiny seam roller, put those in a ziplock in the junk drawer. Then you can easily and quickly make any quick fixes if any of it lifts. I moved into, and started renovating my house almost six years ago, and the bathroom wallpaper looks pristine. The den has heavy expensive fabric paper and I just now had to repair those seams, but it's fine now after a five minute touch up.

I put wallpaper in my bathroom and when I moved out after 4 years it was still pristine. It was a thick wallpaper though, old fashioned not prepasted. Just make sure to caulk all the edges. It looks so pretty!

I built my home back in 1987 about two years in I wall papered both bathrooms, over the years I only had a couple of seem come loose. And last year I did some up dating new floors new counter tops new toilets. And I was so glad to get rid of the wall paper after all these years and I just painted the walls a light color. The bathroom is beautiful, and I can't wait to see the finished product. I'll share my bathroom wallpaper experience. Even if is starts to peel from the shower steam, the glue sticks to the wall like cement making removal a nightmare. I grew up in the "wallpaper everything" era, and I can honestly say after removing all that paper, I will NEVER put paper on the wall again....not even just a border along the ceiling. I was a huge wallpaper fan...was. That said, your bathroom is very pretty...nicely done!

You are given me flashbacks from my youth, I worked in a wallpaper store in Brussels and from time to time assisted with wallpaper hanging, back in the sixties wallpaper was more popular than painting (in Europe at least) just one pointer, if you do an other room start from a plum line on the main wall, this will ensure that the wallpaper is straight. I am the Horder and Harriet is the Porger. I'm in the camp that you never know if you can use it the future and Harriet says , you can always buy it again. Harriet loves wallpapar and I think that wallpaper in a bathroom over time will peel and bubble. Moisture is not your friend. Love the design of the wallpaper You know it's not worth fighting over. There are 2 schools of thought concerning caulking around the toilet; the first is don't do it, because if the toilet develops a leak, the caulk contains it, and you wont know about it until the floor rots and the toilet falls through. The second is, of course, to do it, which makes it look finished and clean.

I leave a weep hole in the caulking at the back of the toilet so if it leaks the water will come out there.

If plumbers do the caulking they will do both sides and the front leaving the back open.

Caulking serves 2 purposes: esthetic and glue the toilet to the floor (they never complete flush and can cause the movement and scratchy noises). Thus the toilet has to be caulk but leaving back side open will show if there are leaks.

I love your choice of wallpaper. For me, though, I got sick of mine pretty quickly. Thus, paint was a better option, easier to change.

After buying a house with EVERY room wallpapered including some ceilings and some rooms had paint OVER the wall paper I can never wall paper a room in my home. It took YEARS to get to every room to remove the 30-50 year old wall paper. But your bathroom looks super cute! LOVE the floor tile!

I’ve wallpapered before … always found it easier to start in the corner and work out both ways from that corner

That is precisely why we only wallpapered one room in the house. And the rest of them are sitting in a box in our bedroom and has been for 25 years. If you come to Ohio and you want wallpaper let me know it's all yours no charge.

Oh Trent that bathroom is really looking so pretty and that wallpaper is so beautiful and matches everything in there and that vanity is also so pretty looking and that will be so wonderful when it is all completed and you have that bathroom to use as much as you would like to. And also Brandon and Grayson are doing such great work also. It is really risky wallpapering a bathroom as the steam from bath or shower will react against the paste used to stick paper to wall.

My wife and I wallpapered the living room 35 years ago. Everybody told us if your marriage can survive wallpapering together it can survive anything and they’re right. We’ve been married 38 years now.
