I saw Trentemoller first at a 100 person venue in Denver early 2000s and discovered him from hearing Miss You. 2007 I'm in Denmark at Roskilde seeing him among thousands of people deep. It's the sound journey and introduction of sounds that maybe it's the 3rd time you listen and you're like whoa, how'd he do that cause you heard another sound. His music is in the top 3 that fuels my soul. I'll also openly admit I hugged a speaker at a venue in LA (small - maybe 500 max) when Into The Trees hit (i was not high fwiw). I just had the best 56 minutes watching something inspiring and it's been a while.

Imagine putting your synth on ebay, a guy writes you, he wants to buy it... Hey, it's Anders Trentemøller. He's gonna use my synth on his new album :D Damn, I wouldn't even be mad or sad anymore. Trentemøller standing in you living room, talking about synthesizers...

This album is exquisitely made, I really was familiar with only the Last Resort from him, and dabbled in the other works but this is hugely impactful. I wish I knew about it last year when I made my Best of 2016 list. This album goes into Disintegration territory, high praise, if you know what I''m talking about.

I prefer your old music to your new music.... remember the forest? now that was a lovely experience.. be nice to hear something like that updated with some vocals and experimenting.. you had a simple but also unique formula back then.. I'm not sure how I feel about the direction you are heading these days but I respect the process and the pressure you are under.. perhaps I need to sit down and listen? I do think there is something else that needs to be said.
@guthyrenker4 жыл бұрын
what I'm trying to say is I think you are heading backwards.. which is not so bad especially if you are a Cure fan but I think the direction you are more suited to is forward.. or.. perhaps both? incorporate the old and the new.....
