The Blaze @ Nuits de Fourvière (Full Show HiRes) - ARTE Concert

Depuis quelques mois, tout sourit à The Blaze. Acclamé par tous, programmé partout, le duo semble rallier la France entière à sa musique. Une conquête qui ne fait que commencer : les cousins Alric s’attaquent maintenant à l’Europe ! En pleine tournée des festivals, The Blaze passe par la case Nuits de Fourvière. Bien sûr, on est là pour vous en faire profiter.
Au début de The Blaze il y a eu "Virile" - un morceau à la beauté mélancolique, porté par un clip ultraléché et franchement homoérotique. Il n’en fallait pas plus pour agiter Internet et titiller la curiosité des aficionados de musique atmosphérique. Des débuts prometteurs qui, ajoutés à une bonne dose de mystère, ont transformé les deux inconnus en artistes à suivre.Quelques mois après cette entrée en matière fracassante, The Blaze enfonce le clou avec "Territory". Ce nouveau morceau conforte le style du duo : mélancolique, entêtant, à la fois tellurique et aérien. Cet univers est rapidement compilé dans un premier EP baptisé Territory (2017) puis dans l’album Dancehall (2018).La musique de The Blaze a beau être intimiste, elle prend une toute autre ampleur en live. Le duo embarque le théâtre antique de Fourvière dans une expérience qui va le faire planer loin, très loin.

I had the honour to see them at another festival ones and to this day it was the most magical experience in my life. I had never heard of the blaze before, it was late summer, the sun just set so there was a chilly summer breeze in the air as dawn hit, every one of my friends was still wearing their sunglasses. It was the last summer before we graduated and the last day of the festival. School started at 8 the next day. I went to the stalls whilst my friends were getting us drinks. We were just the right amount of tipsy. As I looked over the festival grounds from the stalls, I started hearing this magical beat and saw lights flickering through the masses. I think it was Virile and it was love at first "sound" I guess hahaha. I instantly knew if we went down there we would have a great time so I quickly rushed back to my friends. They had the drinks already so we headed towards the stage. Everyone kinda started falling in love with the song and the music on the way there, starting to throw some moves. As we arrived it was the highlight of the song, I just remember how happy I was at that moment, looking at my friends in sunglasses left and right. Happy to be alive, to be there, to be with my most favourite ppl on earth and grateful for the beauty of this day. This is when I fell in love with the Blaze. This moment continues to live on in my brain like one of their videos. I just felt human.

Los vi hace 2 semanas en Buenos Aires en un festival (Music Wins Festival), y fue mágico, increíble momento, acompañado de sensaciones hermosas. Y no solo eso, después fuimos a un bar, y de causalidad The Blaze también fueron, nos conocimos y encima TOCARON EN VIVO al lado nuestro, en ese lugar!!!
