A viewer of the channel found this pair of $1,800 John Lobb loafers at a consignment store for just over $7.00!! Instead of keeping this pair of John Lobb shoes for himself, he sent them to us to refurbish, and then the owner plans to give them to a very deserving young man and neighbor. We take this worn-out pair of John Lobb shoes and give them the royal treatment.

Here I was fixin' to hit you once again to introduce us to that GOOD dog... and you DID! Annie, time to seize the spotlight and do your part to grow the channel! That's a sweet girl right there! Congrats to the fine young man being gifted that pair of shoes! My advice: Condition that leather and use the shoe trees! And begin to be mindful of where your feet go and how you do so, and those good lookin' hoof-covers will remain in gorgeous condition for many years to come. Blessings upon your studies. Nice to see a new video, you've been missed for the Saturday Coffee Time. Always enjoy seeing a transformation video. God bless you both in your efforts.

Superb straight job. And what a steal!!!! A point on used shoes. When I resole a pair of shoes that were worn by A N Other first, I always take as much of the imprint out of the insole as possible and use cork sheet. Cork paste doesn't take out as much of the original wearers foot print as cork sheet will. I think the paste is better used on a new shoe.... just my findings.

I have a few pair of shoes that I have been thinking about sending to you guys. I walk in a way that results in my shoes wearing unevenly and was hoping there may be a way to work against that in new soles. Not sure if that is the kind of project you are looking for for subscriber videos, but I have two pair of Thursday Captains and a pair of Samuel Hubbards that could be resoled. One of the Thursdays I dyed a darker color after watching your videos. Either way, this pair of shoes that you restored today look great!

@TrentonHeath I have a leg length discrepancy of 5/8" following a total hip replacement. In general do shoes have enough internal room to place a full insole to accommodate this necessary measurement? Placing a heel lift shifts pressure to the ball of your foot and can ultimately cause further issues.

Great job as always gentleman. I also noticed something I'm not sure I've seen you do in other videos unless I missed it when you made sure to imprint the John Lobb logo into the resole, was that out of respect to the manufacturer or to help maintain the status of the shoe itself?
