Yay, good to have some actually good/rare performances. Back when Lets Stay Together was actually a really good song choice. Well earned wildcard spot. Simon should have gave it more creditc, specially when he was picking Carmen Rasmusen as his wildcard choice with a very mediocre performance.

Boo-hoo. Simon, you're a millionaire and famous, yes, I can totally understand why you would be in a bad mood. Pleeeeease!!! Trenyce KILLED IT on this song -- AMAZING!! Two minutes (or whatever the length of time they got to sing their songs on the show) of perfection! So talented and she was always a class act with her personality too.

Why did the show always push Simon's opinion as the most important? He's an old, white dude that's totally out of touch with what the youth market are consuming. He claims he knows what's best, but he really doesn't. He pushed for Reuben to win this season and what the actual fuck?

​@Negus Negast He totally dismissed Kelly Clarkson from the moment he first saw her and only started giving her the time of day when he realised the audience was responding to her. He championed Reuben for this season and Reuben went on to have almost no commercial success. And yip, all of those stats about him bothered me and still do, to answer your snarky comment. He constantly put women down for the way they look and dress, and made it out to be to their detriment...whereas he would list it as a positive for the men he critiqued. His white male privilege smeared these early seasons and it only gets worse on repeat viewings. The man is all hype and marketing.
