106 is genetically enhanced so I'm not surprised he has a godly pain tolerance, reading the intel logs you find out when Horizon imprisoned him that they needed to craft special titanium cuffs because he broke out of the steel ones with ease. Even without reading intel logs you can just tell how strong he is when he can throw a full grown man across a room like they were a pillow lol

@humphrys9076 The Madness Nexus 2 ending shows that Hank would remorsely and callously murder his team mates just to sate his ego. The Trepang2 DLC mission T63, and the interactions afterwards shows that 106 was deeply troubled after killing friendlies he just met for half an hour. The Intel even reveals that the syndicate purposely avoid doing their more cruel tactics like killing civilians when 106 is on a mission so he wouldn't snap on them. So in short: Both are killing machines, both enjoy combat, both are pretty mad, but one is more prone to feeling bad about his actions than the other.

The problem is that he is having his own though and they want a obedient subject which they create 107 after terminating 106. Obviously they fail. The difference is that 107 is predictable as you can see while 106 is unpredictable making him a powerful being than all other subjects in his own merit
