Trepang2 - Survival Mode DLC Gameplay - Operation Bright Star Modified Full Run

Ever wonder what the Hunted Cheat Code does? How about making every Horizon enemy in Survival twice as fast in both speed and reaction, and they're all constantly on the hunt for you?
If you're wondering what Operation Bright Star is, it was announced during the first mission of the Trepang2 Campaign after Subject 105 freed you and you had to get out of Site 14 while Horizon was trying to find you. Talon Company was a variant of Horizon's Black Ops, and their orders were to deny any enemy from acquiring assets from Site 14. In which case, Subject 106 broke free and these guys were sent in to take him out (And failed).
Over the past weekend, I managed to complete Site 14 on Rage Mode and unlocked the Cryptid skins for both the 106 Player Outfit and weapons. It was very exciting to do! The Rage Mode mission wasn't bad, but I had to play carefully so I don't get one-shotted by the Horizon forces.
I also wanted to make one of my Survival Runs harder without actually selecting the Hard difficulty. To this end, I tried out some of the Cheat Code Multiplier Modifiers: NPC Move and Reaction Speeds. I'm not sure if I plan to play around with these in future runs, but I do have a good idea for one of them that involves revisiting the T Pose Cheat Code again.
I picked 200% for the modified NPC Move and Reaction Speeds for a baseline with these special Cheat Codes. I wasn't sure if I wanted to add in double the Health, as the last thing I wanted was everything being a bullet sponge and burning through my ammo. I don't think these stat modifiers were an issue if I was in Focus Mode, but I learned Melee units like from Black Ops can be like those you may remember from Half-Life 1 (Except without the ninja jumps).
I kinda got used to having Enemies Already Alerted on, just like Infinite Stamina, as there's no such thing as stealth in my Survival Runs. What makes it slightly different is sometimes you won't get the jump right as enemies spawn in and take them hostage.
When Hunted is activated, you will occasionally get additional enemy units that resemble the HVT, Chronos, from Site 83's Extreme Difficulty. They're all equipped with Suppressed SMGs and Pistols and reward you with $300 for each one you kill. But for the first Map, there was little time to get into position, as the assassins were already on the hunt.
It also was super lucky for me to get Talon FIVE TIMES this run, which is a super rare instance! Talk about a perfect coincidence if you ask me! If only I had the luck of getting Site 14's Maps (Loading Bay, Office Lanes), but that's okay.
I was also happy I got all Horizon forces and not the special edition enemies during this run, as I wanted to keep to the Operation Bright Star theme. It took me a few runs to get, as I wanted to meet of all of my conditions of the run (Talon forces the most, Study for the first map, etc.).
I tried using more Bolt Launcher with Vortex Grenades to add more style to my kills in this run, and tossing in hostages into Vortexes when able. Compared to the Grenade Launcher, I felt the Bolt Launcher was safer when setting up the explosions after placing the black holes down.
I covered all Combat Sim Levels as of Update 2 as of this recording, so the next time I do Survival Mode runs, it's fair game as to where I go and who I get. I'll try to balance who I select for enemies, but I pick certain ones on pure instinct (aka Whatever I feel like); just as long as I don't get Cultists!
To give you a preview of what I got coming next for Survival Mode runs:
- No Abilities; Just Ammo (aka Infinite Ammo (No Reloads) and Grenades, but no Cloak nor Focus)
- With "Check This" Forces (aka T Pose with 500% NPC Move Speed)
- Horizon Piñata Time! (aka Big Head, NPCs Grenade on Death, and Piñata Deaths)
I like to keep all of my runs on Normal difficulty so I can have each one done in less than an hour. I have some other gun skins I like to showoff, but we'll see when I do my recordings (i.e. Putting back on the 106 HEV skin with Carbon Fiber gun skins, the Site 83 Rage Mode gun skin, etc.).
If there is a Thanksgiving Trepang2 update, I'll prioritize the new stuff before what I have planned above.
