Lets put it this way: arcade is overall more fun and less ragequit causing then realistic but gives 1/3 of the rewards that realistic gives. For example one kill in realistic is like 3 in arcade

for me, im only level 12, air arcade is so many more rewards. i can finish half a tier of a tech tree in a day. its nice to not requeue everytime i die, its nice to not face level 100s who pilotsnipe me. its nice to jump into action earlier. the issue is that turnfighters are too good in that mode since they dont really need aiming skill, its so close together and its so low. but i also dislike how you can get pilotsniped or tail cut loosed by sheer luck. but it beats level 100s anyday.

Honestly as someone with way too many hours in this game, keep doing AAB till you have a good competent aircraft for the BR then try to figure out ARB. There is two different flight models for the modes so it’s better to start now and learn everything as you can. AAR is great to learn to fly in general and how to aim. Plus it’s a great way to gain crew points that most ppl don’t know. For me I recently just got into top tier and I’ve been playing the game since 2015. I was very hesitant and reluctant at first, I hated it actually, but since I started trying I actually learned how to dodge radar missiles more effectively and I actually had fun for once in top tier every since they released those damn fox-3s.

I have a 8/10 ratio when it comes to time played in Air Arcade compared to Air RB. I personally think arcade is more enjoyable overall. I do love Air RB flight model much more than arcade but for me it wasn't until I got to r8 air is when I realized I should move on to AirRB because air arcade at top tier is chaos. While it can be a fun chaos it often leads to getting spawn killed a ton. Top tier AirRB is just so monotonous and boring. If I were to point at one thing that I consider to be a deal breaker is the limited ammo. I don't mind the missiles and secondary weapons being limited but I do have have serious issues with the main gun having it. Some planes just don't have much in terms of gun ammunition and nothing sucks more then flying with no ammo back to the base just do it again... And again. What's the point of having all then crew slots just to only be able to bring one plane in? I didn't spend time and money to train them just to not use them so that's another benefit in itself to arcade. But even with all the hassle of AirRB I still only play it with r8 jets and anything else that's lower I'm over in arcade having a blast. Ground battles is the exact opposite. I CAN'T STAND ground arcade and it only took me 2 days when I started playing it to switch over to realistic. Air.... It took me several years to make the switch

Bc AB is simply more fun than RB if you are not flying like a 🦧like 80% of the pp there --> more flying = more content = more options = more fun. Try out a non meta plane there and clap the meta players out of the game⚡. Whilst arcade may get you quicker dogfights and unlimited respawns, Air RB is better because you have to handle less people then air arcade. Since there is no respawning, You can for sure know that when you dive on someone, nobody else that just respawned will dive on you since there is no respawning. This gives a meaning to using the skill and timing it right to win fights rather then just respawning diving on someone and then dying to someone who backspawned. Its also easier to keep track of all players if they wont respawn. While I understand the criticism of needing to fly minutes before fighting someone, These mins give time for people to climb, sideclimb and also if you are a base bomber main, you get time to see whos going for what base. The time really will fly quick once you start seeing that getting into a fight from a better angle and your terms is better then running in and not caring about your life since you can just respawn. Arcade also has wierd physics and honestly other then just doing some mission in single mode I dont like it, because energy fighting becomes harder and whoever turns faster wins, not to say energy fighting is gone however but in arcade its just a tad bit harder with planes not giving a shit about physics. Realistic also encourages less furballs and more 1v1 dogfights since people like to spread out and back spawning doesnt happen. so you can if you know how to avoid furballs easily by not running into the enemy team and baiting someone out to 1v1 you instead. arcade 1v1s are bland and get repetitive quickly since most of the time its just turn and turn. in realistic 1v1s energy, positioning and proper flap and proper rudder use actually matter making it more fun when you win the fight and get a kill. Since getting kills is harder in realistic then arcade I say its more fun and rewarding (with other rewards like sl and rp) to get some kills in arb. Aab is also very frustating when you get the perfect alt advantage and dive on a group just to get some kills and those guys backspawn and target you and only you. and you cant run away since they equalized by diving on you after the backspawn. So this is the reason why arb is the better and more dominant then the shitty aab mode. Also you learn more things in arb.
