I miss down home. We walked the creeks, camped out in the scripper pits and fished all night. But just the peacefulness of water running and listening to leaves rustle in the trees was my peace time. We lived on 73 acres with a 5 acre lake. It was a church camp we had taken care of for several years and grew up. Lots of creeks and old road beds and old homesteads long gone but their trash dump and flowers with framed trees around where a home stood. Always interesting something out there and discover. Best growing up We had.

Yes Kevin, you can easily hear the water, even with you & Rachel talking, & the crunch of you walking on the dried leaves. Even thought he water level is low the water looks so clear, I also love seeing the reflections of trees etc on the water. Drone footage is great, gives a completely different aspect of the land. Love it all. Hope you can sort out the trespassing issue, seems to be an ongoing. Special mention to Kyah, love the rainbow crocs😊🌈 Take care & cheers🐨🦘🥰

You certainly are close to a road. We built a house on 20 acres in rural Missouri in the 1980's, & always had an issue with deer hunters every deer season. They would even cut fences to get onto property & maybe have a large group try to camp there. I could hear the sound of the water on the video & it brought back some great memories. The sound of that water is so relaxing especially if you just sit when it is quiet. I hope you all are not out there without protection. I never went for a walk without protection & usually the dogs & even my neighbors dogs would go with me. Sometimes the cats even joined the walk. You certainly have a beautiful place by that water..

Kevin I understand your frustration with trespassers. We had a tractor stolen from my parents farm when I was in high school. The creek is so relaxing. The gurgling of the water as it flows over the rocks is very relaxing.

I could hear the sound of the creek it was a beautiful sound I haven’t been out in the mountains or by a stream, lake or pond for over 3 years bc I’m in an assisted living facility. Hearing the creek was very peaceful and calming to me. I am so glad you sent the droan up. This way you can see if there are any changes over in the brush, which would be a sign of trespassers coming thru. If you could - would love to see a trailcam set up to watch the otters. Luv your videos!🌻🤟🌻 PS - I am with Rachel, luv to hear the sound of the creek and the smell of nature. Hey Kevin, I saw something really neat the other day and immediately thought of you! It was a wood stove "topper" ,so you could place it on your stove when not in use to have extra counter space. It also had adjustable legs,( in case your stove don't stand even?) And it could also be used as a carving board since it had wells and used as a chattusere board. Just an idea....

Love that organization deck for your truck bed! Maybe you could build a stone base for a grilling station. Then you would just need to bring a grill top in for your family cookouts. That's a great idea. Cemented grill and perhaps stone benches and table. The only issue is trespassers may feel real comfortably in using it to camp even more..
