These guys are not trespassers but are clearly marked as surveyors. Surveyors do have limited access to your property to determine a boundary to adjacent property. Now you can ask me to leave and I will leave but next thing I will do is to call the sheriffs office have deputy come out and then I will finish my survey. ( Which I have done) Now far as booby traps, if I get injured by a booby trap because Im doing my job let me give you a list of things that will happen. First Im going to have you prosecuted, because if you think it is legal to put booby traps on your property to maim or injure you are sadly mistaken. And second thing I am going to do is find me some "Saul Goodman" type of attorney and sue you. (which I will win) Contrary to popular opinion surveyors aren't exactly over paid and I promise you these surveyors probably have about hundred other things they rather be doing than surveying some angry person land. Just remember we have job to do like everyone else but far too often some crazy wants to give a survey crews a bunch of grief.

Different strokes for different folks, but I've never understood the fret about people trespassing through undeveloped portions of land. We have about thirty acres of forest, and there's often people cutting through the back lot for fishing access, or passing between paths during snowmobile season. In many years, the worse we've ever had was a dude who built a hunting stand. Just asked him not to and he politely moved on. Of course within this video, we have no idea how close this path is to the owner's home, so perhaps he has better cause to be concerned.
