I'm Mexican and I can tell you that that song is not a corrido, it's just trap with guitar, and I'm not saying it's bad, peso pluma has good corridos but this specific song is not a corrido.

Even tho they love the OG music. Los tigres del norte are mainly inspired by johnny cash. Its all music just evolving.

You can hear how much they had to sensor to make it tv friendly. Rappers rap about the Mexican plugs and Mexicans sing about selling it. Peso pluma ain’t a average Latin artist. He mixes the traditional music with his hip hop influences. Cos the music sounds like some traditional shit but if you read into the lyrics he’s like legit rapping.
