I'm a huge Buckeye fan and my husband is actually a Michigan fan, but he has been finding it hard to not cheer for the players because of their amazing testimonies for God's name. It totally stinks that THE GAME was a loss, but I respect so much that you guys understand there is more to life than just football. Our eternity is far more important. Romans 5:3_ 5. These young men are teaching so many lessons! There is a difference between competition n obsession. Competition is healthy n for a Christian humbles one b4 God.. obsessions uplifts a different idol…Losing the GAME Stinks but finding meaning in a loss can only come from Jesus! Go bucks!

Lots beautiful memories of Ohio as childhood, we also we went to Michigan, Minisota, Florida, Mississippi , Arkansas but More Ohio nothing against other states or my home state but Ohio has warm spot in heart it will always be no matter what even though i live in Texas

What an incredible example TH is for not just college age kids/athletes, for everyone. Seeing GS, TH, and DE praying for their teammates and keeping their eyes on the example of Jesus and the lord were the bright beacon amongst the dark storm at midfield. Just awesome.

I think the reason that this loss hurts so badly, is because I love this particular group of guys on different level. At the end of the day, "The Game" is a temporal thing. I know it's hard to hear that right now. But it's nothing compared to eternity. It just sucks so much right now. So impressed with Trey's wisdom and strength.

Henderson is a great man and Ryan Day is doing a great job of developing these men. OSU would be foolish to let Day go when he is winning double digit games every year.

Trey wonders why God had OSU lose the game. Perhaps it was for three courageous wonderful young men of God to be the light of Christ for the rest of us. On one of the biggest stages in college football, when havoc was all around them, they focused on Christ, not the world and football. I applaud these three men and will root for them forever.

God did not allow them to lose that game. We are free will moral agents. There is no biblical evidence that God gets involved in the outcome of sporting events. He will help individuals as they pray and trust him, the people need to wake up and realize that a lot of things that happen are a result of our own doing. God is in charge but he is not controlling everything. For example, He does not control all the terrible things that happen, for example rape incest human trafficking molestation murder etc. etc
