I pitched 2 years of division I baseball and the thought of using sticky substances never crossed my mind back then... 15 years later I regret not trying it. Ended up injuring my elbow and instead of surgery and rehab I went to grad school

He literally said he could use substance to increase his spin rate by hundreds of rpm and did to show how easy it is to use in order to get an unfair advantage cheating. He’s great with and without substances as well. All he’s doing is just pointing out that MLB handled it very poorly.

Mike Rotonda thanks for the condolences, I appreciate it. I hear what you’re saying about shying away from things you shared with your dad. For me and mine, it was James Bond films. He loved the books & films, then my parents took me to see Live and Let Die in 1973 when I was 6 and I loved it! Starting in high school in the early 80’s, we saw every movie together in the theater up to the recent Daniel Craig films. I think it’ll be awhile before I can watch those again, just like you with Field of Dreams! Thx for your reply.

Point you made in another video about decreased tack meaning pitchers have to grip the ball harder, and throwing your arm with tendons taut that weren’t all spring training will lead to injuries is very interesting. Wish they weren’t railroading you for making them all look bad.

I have been following LAD since I was born and I have always loved the team and of course the sport. I have always seen your games whether it was on the Reds, the Indians, or the Diamondbacks.
