It's funny bc a guy I went to high school with, that played SS at South Gwinnett, was a walk on at Bama during the Stallings years, started and built the Grayson High School football program and now is a coach at Clemson, and we used to go to church together, is a Clemson Coach in Mickey Conn. He graduated a year before I did, from South Gwinnett, granted I should've been in his class of 1990, but that's another story lol

Long story short, Brian came up to and show preferential treatment to Jacob Eason and another QB, while leaving Trevor in line. While in the drills, Trevor outperformed both QBs and Brian still showed attention to the other two. They also didn’t offer Trevor a scholarship that night. While they did a few days later, Trevor (and rightfully so) was upset and write UGA off
