I feel like at the time Clemson would be ideal bc of Qb freedom. Georgia was considered a run heavy team even in that 2017 loss to bama. While Clemson was willing to let the QB open his ability even with a lackluster season. Looking at Kelly Bryant & Dj from recent years.

It's funny bc a guy I went to high school with, that played SS at South Gwinnett, was a walk on at Bama during the Stallings years, started and built the Grayson High School football program and now is a coach at Clemson, and we used to go to church together, is a Clemson Coach in Mickey Conn. He graduated a year before I did, from South Gwinnett, granted I should've been in his class of 1990, but that's another story lol

As a Clemson fan we also lost out on several big recruits that could had done the same for us. As @sethauld6708 also stated so many schools fits this category. And then Coach Swinney has the audacity to come out and say he didn't support paying players when they could finally profit off their name and likeness. Like dude... @@jnorman975 it’s a detailed story that’s been known for a while. Trevor came to a UGA camp while he was still considering UGA. Long story short, Brian came up to and show preferential treatment to Jacob Eason and another QB, while leaving Trevor in line. While in the drills, Trevor outperformed both QBs and Brian still showed attention to the other two. They also didn’t offer Trevor a scholarship that night. While they did a few days later, Trevor (and rightfully so) was upset and write UGA off
