It wasn't helped that Ridley became completely unreliable. He did great his first 1-1/2 games, then dropped 50% of his balls from there onward.... Some were game breakers. At least 3 to 4 of that season's losses go to dropped balls and Ridley was by far the worst of them in that regard.... By the time Ridley started doing good in the 4th quarter of the season, it was already too late. Lawrence lost most of his faith in him, the center O-lineman was so bad that he was making the entire interior O-line look bad which cause Lawrence to get injured, and our best receiver in Kirk was injured....

Trevor Lawrence is a monster as he played one of the best seasons of his career. He finished with 4,016 yards, 21 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He only missed a game due to his injury.

21 touchdowns (16th) and 14 Interceptions(4th most) doesnt scream "monster". Being 10th in passing yards behind Baker Mayfield, C.J. Stroud, and Jordan love, doesn't scream generational like they claimed he was. I get the dude was injured but hes gotta get some things figured out.

Lots of comments about Trevor's abilities. He may have a flaw or 2, but the Jaguars made the playoffs when Trevor was uninjured (2022). When Trevor was injured, Jags missed the playoffs (2023). He definitely makes a difference for the Jaguars.

You know what even though we missed the post season I’m a believer in Trevor I’d rather keep him for many years to come than look for a new QB get him some protection and a better OC. Doug Pederson was way too aggressive going for it on 4th down all year.

He has his flaws. He needs to be a better decision maker (i.e. taking easy checkdowns instead of throwing into coverage) and throw with a bit more touch. But I agree with you, he's an unreal talent, but injury ruined this season for him. Even though his numbers weren't great, he played at an elite level the 1st half of the season and had me feeling like the Jags were true AFC contenders. The best is yet to come. People need to pump the brakes on defining the legacy of these QBs....for the most part, they're all years away from being 30....except Rodgers, Stafford, Dak, Cousins, and Russ
