Oh my GAWD. That pilot analogy is so on point. I was on a 12-hour flight 3 months ago and experienced the WORST turbulence I've ever experienced. I'm not afraid of flying, but that ish was scary AF ESPECIALLY because the pilot said NOTHING in the FIRST TWO HOURS. Finally in the third hour he gets on the PA system and says, "We're experiencing a little turbulence, but it's okay." IT WAS NOT LITTLE.
