However I wouldn't disrespect a death like he did, plus.... The British Empire which definitely improved the world, despite what lefties think, as shown by countless former colonies falling apart when they get the independence they wanted, had nothing to do with Queen Elizabeth II. Various African countries are run by warlords, Caribbean countries like Jamaica are full of street gangs, and the Middle East has oil rich Sheikhs who treat people like slaves. Turning the death of the queen, a woman who served the country for over 70 years, as a reason to shout about racism was an absolute disgrace. He deserved to be sacked. Losing our monarch was a period of national mourning, then he comes out with that crap question? Really?? There's a time and a place for that sort of comment and that was neither the time or the place. This country gave him a hell of a good living and yet he still finds a reason to complain about it. There are a hell of a lot of white people who haven't had the opportunities he's had.

You only succeeded in proving his point. She served the country for 70 years while she was the Queen of the Commonwealth and millions of other people across the globe whom she had no connection with and who had no connection with her. It's the height of arrogance and entitlement to expect the same level of emotional grief from those people. When was the last time you mourned the death of another Commonwealth leader you had no connection with? And by the way, Trevor wasn't given a great life in this country. He earned it. Its amazing how often black people are told how grateful they should be, while white people's success is always attributed to hard work and sacrifice. You are everything you claim not to be. Just like those non racist " I have black friends" hypocrites at Talksport .

It was a valid question, I didn’t mourn the queen myself but mourned or the symbol she represented but I mourned a kind figure who I grew up with. However, the timing was not good. What a strange interview: 1. Sinclair doubles down on his position with no remorse for his poor timing. Some interesting points but there is a time and a place. Just after the queens death is not the time to ask these questions and he shows no reflection on this. Also he was so proud of his Irish / Jamaican heritage he opted to represent the country he despises as racist. 2. This interviewer offers no probing questions or challenge to Sinclairs comments or explanation to why people found this offensive. He seems grateful to have these guests and doesn’t want to upset them with cold hard facts

Lets address the Elephant in the room. Everything Trevor Sinclair said in this interview was factual. Especially people taking offence to his question. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to his mother. Our country tries to cover up its dirty little secret but the fact of the matter is as a nation we're immature when it comes to dealing with racism because we have not healed. Whether or not the timing was right for him to send out that tweet, his question was a true and honest one. He's paid the consequences for his actions by being sacked from his job. But lets not forget the comparison's he has made between himself and Jeremy Clarkson and you could even throw Gary Lineker in to the mix while we are on the subject, who have maintained work and even kept their jobs respectively. I could go on but I'll leave it there, but you get my point, I'm sure.
