According to Melanie, Alphabet Boy was a boy she used to date in college. He studied music and he used to try and "teach" her how to write songs as if there was a formula or that she wasn't writing songs "correctly." It made her furious and she wanted to elaborate on that. She told VICE that "Alphabet Boy" is her and Cry Baby's break-up song.

Fun fact: some words on the verses go in ABCD order! For example on the first verse “Always Aiming paper Airplanes at me when you’re Around” then “you Build me up like Building Blocks so you can Bring me down” then “you Can Crush my Candy Cane but you’ll never Catch me Cry” and finally “if you Dangle that Diploma and I Dead you Don’t be suprised” the same happens in the second verse!

The gap in her teeth is just a natural feature! She points it out a lot during the K-12 movie because she’s very insecure about it but personally I think she looks really cute with it.

This song is a follow ip to Carrousel she’s talking about the same boy who was her first love, but this is her breaking ip with him. Also this song was written in Alphabetical order!

The song is about mansplaining. It follows Carousel but for the next one she’s into another person. The cool thing about this song is that in each verse she emphasizes the use of ABCD (a: apples aren’t always appropriate apologies, and so on).

I believe Alphabet boy was the boy from the Carousel who was Crybaby's first love. She does have many relationships in the first album. And yes the gap is real, it's her signature look.

I love the quirky effects & beats she puts in. Makes it so interesting & unique. Yeah I take this one as addressing a ‘boy’ who thinks he’s so much better & higher up than her & looks down on her in the relationship as being underneath him, not an equal. I feel like if this is about a real situation maybe another artist that had more experience or formal training and telling her she won’t make it maybe? But she’s there ‘watch me getting big now’ her popularity blew up big time so there’s the proof he’s no better 😁

Since you just started listening to her 🎧 I will explain all the things i know about her💕 She made a album called crybaby her first album and and after some years she released a album called kk 12. Crybaby describes the baby stage of her character and kk 12 describes the toddler age of her character crybaby so her albums mimics real life. After that she didn't make music that much she delt with depression so she went to Hawai and started therapy a specific type of therapy that talks about death and what happens after I don't know what that type of therapy is called, and after 4 years she made a album called portals that just came out the album is about death and what happens after, her past self "CryBaby" will die and will be reborn as a different creature that's why all of the Thumbnails of the videos before the portals album were all of a big mushroom that had carved Crybaby onto it which means that CryBaby died. All of the songs of portals is about what other people saw after they died and the first song of the portal is DEATH wich is about how her soul got out of her past body and the last song is WOMB which is about how she was reborn. I HOPE THIS HELPS ❤❤ Edit: One more thing. In the start of the song death it goes Death Is Life I Death Is Life and in the end of womb the last song it goes Life Is Death Is Life and when the song ends it plays the first song death and there is a neverending loop that is about death and life She is a Genius 🤯
