Ryan Molley absolutely killed this set, well done! 👍🏼 especially since he only had a couple of weeks to learn all the songs when Holly Johnson sadly pulled out 😢 Kudos to the whole band for pulling off an amazing set with such professionalism and brilliance in what is nearly a 20 year old concert. I hear they are all now back together (2023) and are performing stellar work.

One of the best singles of the 80's. Frankie and early Depeche were the perfect soundtrack for the Cold War.

And this is done live... how the hell do you achieve production quality and depth like that this live?!? Everybody on the stage is simply a master, and there's a lot of folks on the stage. The entire Prince's Trust thing Horn put together is pretty much just one epic performance after another.

I was there and it was certainly a shame that Holly chose not to perform. I still danced my arse off but it's amazing seeing this footage that most are just standing there. Like wtaf, it's as close as many of us had gotten to a fgth and I went for it!

isn't Holly up there on stage? Didn't listen to Frankie in the 80's being a metal head but I'm totally crazy about them after hearing Pleasure Dome. Just curious as I'm looking at other Frankie stuff... what does Paul Rutherford do exactly? Does he write some of the lyrics? Great stage presence though, him and Holly really put a buzz in their performances of Relax which I can now enjoy not being the homophobe I used to be haha... btw huge YES fan, seeing Steve Howe performing on Pleasure Dome blew my mind.

The singer is Ryan Molloy. He stepped in at short notice because Holly Johnson backed out... and doing a great job of it IMO. Different tamber, but great range and the right energy. The band is FGTH plus a collection of a bunch of the best musicians in the world... They actually pull off an essentially perfect *live performance* of a very highly produced track. Just listen to it.... it's epic. ;)
