After watching a bunch of reviews for the UFO and UFO 2 I’ve decided on getting the UFO 2! I don’t have the original or any other Foreo devices so I don’t have any biases or experience using their products. While the UFO 2 is more expensive I really want the 5 other LED lights and the cooling technology (the UFO 2 mini doesn’t have it). Thank you for your review and the cute cat at the end:)

You showed a comparison showing the difference between each ie,colour settings, pulse, etc. At the bottom of settings UFO 1 showed...heat, cool, off. At the bottom of UFO 2 settings shows “Temperature”. Did not see same option of heat, cool, etc. Can you choose heat, cool, etc. same as UFO 1. If so, how?

Still need to work out a few things as the serum serum serum in Au is 89 dollars, and the foreo ufo masks are 16 dollars for 7! You said u use your bear after your skin care so def you dont want an ultra sound gel to wash off after all your routine, in my case i would save on the SSS and spend on the masks instead, as a Diy on sheets masks is a mess! Im really not a cyber stalker i just love your reviews😝

Hey Zenobia! And Maria! You CAN use the LED light therapy without the masks as well as the t-sonic pulsations. I’m always cautious to say that you can use thermo and cryotherapy with others serums and masks because there’s no research behind what could happen when you heat or cool those unknown ingredients up on the skin. And in the effort of protecting the skin, I wouldn’t recommended it. However, the LED light therapy is still awesome 😎 Thanks for asking and for watching.

You could, just avoid using it with heat. Or avoiding the specific spots where you have melasma. Green led should help with it, theoretically. Best to stick with the cold option and the other led colors. Blue may make it worse, but if you want. You can always spot treat a small hidden area. Everyone's skin is different
