Thank you for the video! I wanted to ask how could one differentiate presupposition from entailment? Is there an easier way to distinguish the two? (I always mix them up)

waffling around is an example of a violation of the maxim of relevance, yes?

Hello! Is there a way to clearly differentiate between the violation of maxim of manner vs. maxim of quantity? Both of them state that the speaker needs to be brief, and in many examples of violation of the maxim of manner it seems to me that the speaker is also violating the maxim of quantity.

I, umm, really like potatoes, because umm, they taste like, pretty great. I like potatoes because they taste great. Only the first violates the maxim of manner. Neither violate Quantity if the question is "Do you like potatoes and why?"
