Another thing to know, though is price points. Yes the Transcend Signature is perhaps more durable than the Enhance Natural, but is also nearly three times the price! Locally, the Signature is 10.17 l.f., whereas the Natural is 3.80 l.f. Huge price difference for perhaps double the useable life time (50 vs 25 yrs)?

I agree...thats why I saw the value in Transcend!

I think spiced rum looks the best, unless you have a bear fighting a bald eagle scratching up the deck on the daily. Then get the grey one

Haha thanks for the comment. That’s exactly what we decided to go with. I plan to do a video of the process soon showing the complete project.

which one of the composite boards are the best for resisting fire 🔥? I have a home that currently has a composite type boards but they’re 20 years old. I live in an area prone to fires with lots of forrest. Which would you recommend?
@CTECH-REVIEW2 ай бұрын
I unfortunately wouldn’t know the answer to this. I would contact TREX and ask them. I don’t believe any of them are rated for fire though.

Timbertech and fiberon I think are better. Would love to see a review.

I would like to see as well. I spoke to people at Home Depot. They sell all 3 and they seemed to like trex more than the other two.

@@CTECH-REVIEW interesting I wonder why.

The scratches look great in nature soft course it’s not gonna be seen as much agree. He should’ve used the same color for different lines of decking, unless he wanted to show what the colors would look like.

See how long it takes for ALGAE to grow on top of them. OR IF IT WOULD CUZ I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ALGAE GROWING ON MY WOOD AND MAKING MY PORCH VERY SLIPPERY PRETTY MUCH LIKE A SKATING RINK.

Oh wow. I hope it doesn’t do that! Sorry to hear about yours

@@CTECH-REVIEW I'm looking at about 800 for the Trex boards. But for normal old treated wood 200 for the wood and about 200 for the paint. But I don't like to paint decking boards because when the paint starts to peel up it looks a mess. Not to mention it tracks everywhere too if you walk in the house. That trick deck boards don't they have a special type of screw they use for that boards

Can you test to see which is the least slippery?

Your temp test is flawed. The majority of your samples were in the shade of that branch. Especially when you shot the wood deck in full sunlight.
@CTECH-REVIEWАй бұрын
For the part of the video I showed they were in partial shade but they had been in full sun for a few hours prior to taking the video.
