B.A.S.S. rules. Has been for like 60 years. Their first couple tournaments basically wiped out the lakes they were held on so ray scott who started B.A.S.S. developed catch and release to promote conservation of lakes. This kid needs to be thanking humminbird and lowrance electronics for developing front facing sonar and panoptics, he never would've found the fish without them. He was looking at every fish and his lure on that little screen and knew exactly when that fish was making a move on it. Highly doubtful he'd have even made it to the tournament without them let alone win it.

Everyone on the water has access to the same equipment as him… that’s a lame ass excuse to downplay his skills, kid out fished everyone on that lake. Plain and simple
