In my experience i think the best way is to do something you enjoy like for example if you go to sci-fi events, conventions, book clubs, wine tasting, meditation, dance etc, or adult classes, and the events happen weekly or a couple times a week or even monthly/bi- monthly(Even can look into interests through social media) and you start seeing the same faces, get to know them in a no- pressure environment and then it feels more natural. I've met a BF in college, through friend of friends and in bands, etc. Of courses now everyone has to wait because of this isolation and quarantine 😱 but it's something to look into for whoever is still looking but doesn't want to force it.

I thought I was lucky like that once. I met a guy playing World of Warcraft. He lived outta state, moved to MY state to further our relationship and revealed himself to be a loser shortly after we got engaged a year or so later. Thennnnn I met a guy at a card shop (I play Magic the Gathering) and he was amazing - but he had his heart set on moving to Japan. I dated him anyway for 8 months. Now he lives in Japan, we're best friends and we have been for about 6 years and talk almost everyday(despite the time difference), but still. We actually only ever should've been friends anyway, but I digress because THENNNNN I met another guy at the card shop (went back to the proverbial well) and dated a guy for 4 1/2 years who decided he didn't want to get married after all.
