I still find "lhum'ad'sejja" and "im ëmat gan líeshtam namvajno" more interesting; the former because it's both rawer and more aggressive yet more melodic than most of Trhä's output while incorporating influences from everywhere from drum'n'bass over blues to dark ambient, the latter because of the Middle Eastern traditional influences which again result in a very different set of melodies and rhythms than any of his other records. This one is much closer to standard ambient black metal but I guess it's really good standard ambient BM, to be honest I probably have to give it some more listens to let all the nuances and details in the songwriting and arrangements really sink in.

To me this one sounded more depressive, and the vocals sound more fucked up, maybe some distortion and reverb trickery going on.

@@BennyProfane-bl6sr yeah this one strikes me as a degree more oriented towards ambient soundscapey types of composition, and I have to be a in a very specific mood to enjoy black metal written in that style

boy howdy is that a beautiful album cover, the music found within strikes me as clearly inspired by "Filosofem" era Burzum if Varg Vikernes had listened to (even) more bands on 4AD records than he did in this timeline
