those are awesome guys! the ones iv seen always looked sketchy haha. those ones look plenty strong all gusseted up.
@LovettSpeedShop4 жыл бұрын
Haha i thought the same thing when we decided to build a set. Dad said they didn't use anything back then but weld them up. So with this set we added the gussets and made them extremely strong. Thinking about using them under the 55 but haven't decided yet on witch direction im going with it. I have the 5.3LS im thinking about using when i get there on it.

It's always cool to see way to save money on build instead of just ordering out of a catalog 👍👍👍

For sure I try to save money on all my builds. If I can make it I do vs ordering parts.

I found a better way . Cut the lower ball joint off andcweld the end of a G body gm on the end of the tri five A arm . Then put G body lift spindles on , you can get 3 or 4 inch spindles at lift a brand . Gives you stock spring , G body disc brakes and proper alignment and spacing . Gives 4 inches .
@drdjh20034 жыл бұрын
Funny, I was just questioning if you could put disc conversions on these raises spindles. A guy I know has one of these cars it’s been sitting 20 years and we were talking about putting this brakes on it with his raised spindles.
@LovettSpeedShop4 жыл бұрын
@ david H Yes you can definitely do the disk conversion with these. It works same way. Your steering stays in same place as factory and caliber bracket will bolt right up.

@pappabob294 жыл бұрын
Just one question: So the spindles are forgings so they can be welded as usual ???
@LovettSpeedShop4 жыл бұрын
Yes sir they can definitely be welded on. If you make a set I would recommend the guesses like I put in mine for additional safety.
@pappabob294 жыл бұрын
@@LovettSpeedShop Thanks for the reply. I won't be building a gasser type tri-5 but found this very interesting. Your parts look VERY well done !!!
