Very expensive for what they are. Had the same quality shells from ebay much cheaper. Buy a few and match 3 shells up, very easy and save yourself at least £40. Thank me later. BTW, I've been into magic tricks, especially machined ones for 50 years and wow the quality these days is now so, so poor. Always expensive, but in the past your gimmick was where the value was. Nowadays the gimmicks are poorly made and you are paying for the secret and a bit of flash packaging.

I will 100% admit I am not a coin connoisseur and cannot speak on the quality of this set vs another. I can only speak on my own experience using gaffs. I can compare the £50 set to the £250 set and say there are major quality differences. Is it worth the £250 price tag? I suppose that is in the eye of the beholder innit? For me the coin set is lovely and the routine taught is a great starting point. Now, can you get the same quality for cheaper by shopping around? Probably yeah. If you knew what you are looking for and wanted to come up with your own routine could you put something together for £40? Of course. But if you don’t and you don’t want to spend time and wasting money getting it wrong and just want to get a competent set that works well and is already packed for you, then why not? The real argument here is, is it something you can afford and are there better alternatives on the market worth your money? That depends on the individual to decide. Great comment.
