Been looking at triad orbit for a while now and am totally convinced they are the best for stability and modularity. Very simple but clever concept. Great review.

Thank you! I am not using the system at the moment as I need a light solution for my current gigs but it is a great product for the right people!

Thanks David. Check out some other videos too, there’s even more ways to use it that I didn’t mention here.

Great Review, cool product, I am interested in the wall mounted mic stand, I wonder if it can hold a heavy mic without a problem. I may have to check it out. Thanks Aaron. ;)

This is absolute genius! I sing and sometimes play rhythm guitar in a gigging band. I am always terrified my iPad and/or phone will fall as the attachments I use are nowhere near as strong and stable as these. I'm thinking a mic at the end of the boom, an iPad stand, a string swing if playing at that gig (disconnected if not) , possible lower mic if playing acoustic, possible way to hold looper station... (How is that RC-600 coming along?) Just. Wow. I'll watch more videos, but I'd use this at home and for gigs. Never even occurred to me to look for something like this! Thanks for the introduction!

Ah yes I didn’t even think about a mic attached for the guitar! I will report more when I have used it at a gig but I love the flexibility.

Great review as usual Aaron. The product and related accessories look great. I can't tell exactly what's included in that price--which I'm sure is me, not you. But I think much if not all of this could be assembled at lower cost and comparable quality with some scrounging. My basic K&M mic stand sports a Tachform cell/tablet holder (the latter for about $40) that attaches very securely, and a generic quick-release mic mount. My preference on the guitar is to place it as far from the audience as possible between sets, so on a portable floor stand in back (though having seen some of your gig videos, that might be a whole two feet back for you). Still, it's great to have options like this package. Thanks for posting.

The price is for the boom stand only. Check out some other videos too because this really is not a simple microphone stand. Some users are mounting multiple cameras and lights etc to get video shoots that would take many stands otherwise. This can easily replace expensive camera tripods as well as microphone stands. It’s very cool.

Very impressive, but wow $$$!

Thanks for your comment Philip. If you are buying it as a basic microphone stand then yes it is several times more expensive than a regular stand but if you use it as a camera mount and guitar stand and it saves you buying those stands separately then I think it works out about the same price and also saves a bunch of space too. It’s definitely aimed at a certain market.
