Triad Pairs: II-V-I licks -PART 2

Hope you were able to watch PART1 of Triad Pairs from Hexatonic Scales which I posted last week. In it I taught the theory and procedure to get you started on this post-bop concept that has been employed by many jazz guitarists such as Jim Hall, Pat Metheny, John Scofield and many others.
In this lesson I'm happy to announce PART 2, in which I teach you 6 Cool Triad Pair Licks that you can use over major II-V-Is. At the end of the video I even give you a demonstration of how I do so over a standard.

I really like the way you present the material. Those two videos contain a lot of good hours of study for me. I only whished that you could provide some wave-files or other common soundfiles instead of, or in addition to the Band-in-a-box files. I prefer to work in Cubase where I can build up the tunes instrument by instrument myself. Anyway You are doing a great job and I hope you do much more in the future. Thank you. I am using many more of your videos in my bumpy road to decent guitar playing. ;-)

Glad you like the lessons! By the way, I do supply mp3s for all 16 examples in the study package. You can open them up in Cubase which is where I recorded them to begin with...

..Hi Richie!!..your channel is a blessing for all musicians man, big respect and thanks, hope that you can eventually do a minor 2 5 1 and over altered V7..I’ve been using F and G over an E7 altered for instance but I’m thinking there has to be more piquant pairs too..greetings from New York and Boston back in the day, a short Berklee stay..peace and stay safe!...New York September 27, 2020

Hey Richie, thanks for the lesson. I really liked your approach to having a specific triad pair for each chord within a Major 2-5-1. Do you have a similar formula for a Minor 2-5-1? I would appreciate any advice you can offer. Cheers!

Thanks! Unfortunately, there was very little interest from my viewers in having me do a 3rd lesson showing the application to minor II-V-Is. However, I will still consider doing one hopefully soon since it's been a while.
