As someone who watches every Arnold classic it would be really nice to not have announcers that continuously talk yet say nothing. I would much rather here the announcer that the crowd is hearing, as well as hearing more of the crowd and the competitors. I understand that there was no crowd this year, but for future reference these announcers are unnecessary.

Gillingham judging is inconsistent, Kearney didn't lock out but was given a good lift, Novikov came closer to full lockout with the 300 lb.stone but was given a no lift? And with all the former top placing strongmen, why the choices for announcers and judges, yes some have strength credentials and some have none at all, but those that do are far from the best that are available? Also this trend towards endurance events is the wrong direction, go back to the old events, please, this to me is some what boring. If they want to find out who is strong and athletic, just watch crossfit.

You can't go into the actual rooms where the events are being held unless you are an athlete or a trainer or family of either / you need a green wristband. Tickets for the general Expo were refunded already. I really wanted to see the strongman today but unfortunately I was only able to see them walking down the hall LOL I managed to see Patrick more to! I didn't talk to him though it seemed like he was going to be a bit annoyed if I bothered him.
