You need to take your friends who opened the warp on the friendship tree with you, to do this trick
This trick needs some practice, be patient and keep practicing. You can use it as daily candle-running too

Probably one of them fell and respawned at a previous checkpoint, and just as they were about to follow them the other skid teleported to get them and boom! Trick discovered ✨

I tried this trick with my sister, but we just kept flying up and it teleported us back the the checkpoint. Do you know how to fix this?

It was about perfect timing, your sister must teleport before you change your flight mode. If she teleports after you change flight mode, you will bounce too high beyond the limit and will return to your respective check points. Hope this helps

Okay, so I tried doing this with my boyfriend and he can’t follow me- there’s no follow icon, instead it’s just the warp icon. He’s tried tapping on my character when I’m close to him, but if I get far enough the follow icon turns into the warp icon. Any advice for us, please?

That's why he had to jump (drop him self) at the first spot, don't honk or tap the character. For friends who have opened warp to each other, the follow icon can only appear if we fall

You can flap when you have cape, if you're capeless you need to jump from the top of a mound

It called sling shotting and it a physics glitch.NOT new and also just a glitch.
