this is really cool man, i’m looking forward to playing it. as someone who plans to do something similar but isn’t too experienced with code, i’m wondering how you handled the enemy scheduling

Thanks, I hope you enjoy it! All the enemy spawning was handled using GameMaker's timelines, which execute code during pre-assigned "moments". They're quite useful for spawning enemies, but they serve well at handling dialogue boxes too.
