Trials and Tribulations of a ZIPRA Soldier

Dr Churchill Mpiyesizwe Guduza has published what some people view as a controversial book, Yet Professor Smile Dube of California State University has described it as the best book he has read on ZIPRA, a book which captures very well the contributions of ZIPRA to the liberation struggle. The title of the book is Trials and Tribulations of a ZIPRA soldier. The book has raised a fierce and vicious debate. Dr Guduza is of the view that ZIPRA, ZAPU and ZAPU leadership made grave strategic blunders. He is particularly hard-hitting when it comes to Dr Joshua Nkomo who he sees as made strategic leadership blunders by fighting for Zimbabwe instead of fighting for the liberation of Mthwakazi. Mr Mark Mbayiwa of ZAPU has come out guns blazing in defence of Dr Joshua Nkomo.
