Trial Tube - The Ultimate 2021 BETA EVO 300 Trials Bike Review!

This is it! I have finally gotten around to reviewing my own 2021 300 Beta Evo trials bike.
This has been a video That I have wanted to get around too but just haven't had chance to finishing. It is also the longest and most in depth video that we have released here on the channel.
As always I intend to be fair and un-biased even with this bike being my own. As always all the parts in question have been purchased and therefore are my own opinions and thoughts.
The MOST HONEST REVIEWS come from right here as we have no financial gain!

I cover it but lean back until it’s required. Then when you climb the step to the rear wheel you can catch the bike on the rear brake!!

Nice review. Everyone in my club is hopping on the Vertigo and TRS bandwagon, but I'm still loving my 2015 Evo. Ineresting to know what differences there are from the 2015 to the 2021. Good job.

Danny, as a Beta rider who throws his bike at the ground regularly, I've spent too much on replacing the rear mudguard. I notice that you and others remove the mounting bolts at have zip ties holding the plastic on. This seems like an idea but ...... that still leaves the airbox cover screwed down and the plastic will still break. Have I missed something 'cause I really don't want to replace another.

This is a tricky one. I run the zip ties as a precaution. If the crash is too big then there’s no helping the snap! Although the newer bikes mudguard is a little more bendy. The zip ties have saved it on more than one occasion mind

New to the world of trials. Great video 👍. Would you recommend a 300 as a first trials bike? Experienced rider but no trials experience.

Hi Thomas, Thanks for the comment and remember sharing is caring! Personally I wouldn't recommend a 300 as a first bike (but if that's all you can get your hands on then riding is always better than not). If you can get your hands on one a 200 is always the best learner machine or a 250 as these are a lot more common! Great to have your aboard bro!

I'm not going through 101 comments. Put a rag between sprocket and chain give it a little spin backwards. It tightens the adjusters against the pins

Which Beta model would you suggest for a beginner? I’ve heard the 250 is a little better for a new guy? I’ve been racing/riding beta enduro modes for a few years. Love Beta!

You will be safe with a 250 for sure. We do love a 200 though!

Try the maxima 75w gear oil makes such a difference to the clutch

Right, stupid noob question. New to trials, what is the correct chain tension? I know what it is on a mxer, but that chain looks banjo tight (tensioner, I know). How tight is correct? I have a Beta 300 EVO aswell, old but gold.

Please tell beta to make a more flexible fender. I went with trs due to the glass like fender that breaks frequently . In fact we all did except for our one friend who has a frakenfender.

Had a 2013 Beta 4t and at first (early) oil cx notice LOTS of metal particles, second (also early) half again as much chippies. Comment?

The magnetic sump plug is designed to pick up the metallic particles and wear off the gears and it may seem like a lot but there will always be these particles. That's why regular Oil changes are important.

The bike had been ridden previously but it was just a for 10 minutes or so and everything had been lubed. So I didn't want to have to re-lube the whole thing prior to getting out shooting. I am over conscious when it comes to bike prep but I also try and use some common sense also.

In the US it is about a 700 dollar difference if I am not mistaken, I do not know what it is over seas. But in my opinion it is worth it to get the factory edition.
